If these pancakes aren’t fall enough then i don’t know what is, i made these babies last Saturday morning.
Needless to say i’ve been spiralizing EVERYTHING in sight.
From apples,to parsnips,to beets, you name it,i’ve done it.
I love my spiralizer.
There are a few more fruits and veggies i would love to try, but haven’t gotten around to it yet, but don’t worry i will.
These on the other hand are so good, they actually taste like fall. 🍂
The combination of the cinnamon,ginger,turmeric, and apple are just BOMB, plus the maple syrup to top it all off.
2 cups gluten free pancake mix -i used bobs red mill brand
1 – 1/4 cups whole milk
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of ginger
1/4 teaspoon of turmeric
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 full tablespoon vanilla protein powder
1 small apple spiralized
Maple syrup for serving
drop of grass fed butter or gee for heating the skillet
Clue: Start by mixing your dry ingredients in a medium glass bowl, GF pancake mix, cinnamon, ginger, turmeric, and vanilla protein powder. Next add the vanilla extract with the egg, and half of the milk, stir, then add the rest of the milk and mix until just incorporated add the spiralized apple, and mix again. Once skillet is heated on medium low, add your pancakes. cook each pancake for about 15 mintues on each side with out burning them, because there is apple in the mixture, they will take a little longer to cook then regular pancakes. But trust me it’s well worth the wait. they are delicious..
